Clarence Martin Gym

The former Temple High School Gymnasium located on 3rd Street has new life as a recreation center for the City of Temple. 

The facility is used for various city programs and by other local organizations as a site for indoor athletic events. 

Currently the Temple Youth Baseball Association maintains an office in the building.

Rules and Regulations

• All fees are payable in full at the time the reservation is made. Fees may be paid in cash/MasterCard/Visa/Discover or a check payable to the City of Temple.
• A minimum of 2 hour rental is required.  Rentals beyond 10 pm may incur additional fees.
• Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance but must be made no later than a minimum of 10 business days before requested rental date.
• Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of rental date for a refund.
• Alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed.
• It is the renter's responsibility to control players, spectators and all children attending the rental.
• All activity and persons (including children) are confined to the area rented.
• Failure to adhere to any and or all of these procedures will be grounds for the forfeiture of the right to use the facility in the future.
