Are you looking for an after school program for your kiddos? Now serving Temple ISD Middle and High Schools, our community drop-in program is your teens favorite place to be after school! We provide a daily snack as well as a quiet place to do their homework, different structured activities per day, sports activities, and more. Memberships are annual and low cost! Do you love movies and tv shows? Do you aspire to be the next great director? Join our team at the Wilson Park Recreation Center for our new Wilson Film Academy! Twice a month, your teens will get the opportunity to learn from our talented staff how to write, direct, and edit their own movies across a variety of genres. Every month will b e a new Genre theme so be sure to register early to secure your spot! Come twice a month and create the next big masterpiece! Registration per section includes two dates so please be sure to attend both! All movies will be shown at our annual Wilson Film Festival where our community can come and see your creation!

The goal of the Youth Advisory Commission is to convene and empower a group of young leaders who are committed to learning about local government and making impactful change in their community. The Commission will address and advocate for the Temple community from a youth-centered perspective while gaining the knowledge and tools necessary to become effective and dedicated leaders. YAC Commissioners and members will learn to make a difference in our community and the lives of other youth, recognizing their voice, using it, and representing other youth in the City.
