Every year Temple Parks and Recreation organizes several special events designed to bring the community together. Whether it’s a concert in the park, Christmas parade, an explosive 4th of July celebration, or the annual Bloomin' Temple Festival, there is always another event just around the corner! Bloomin' temple festival
Bloomin’ Temple Festival, one of Central Texas’ most popular events, attracts over 13,000 people annually and is held the last weekend in April. For 15 years, attendees have enjoyed this two-day festival, jam-packed with great musical performances, a thrilling carnival, amazing food, arts & crafts and fun for the whole family in historic downtown Temple. BloominFestival2022-42 - Copy
City of Temple Annual Christmas Parade
Join us in reliving the magic that has been going through downtown Temple every Christmas for over 70 years! The City of Temple Christmas Parade is scheduled for the first Monday in December and a family favorite you won’t want to miss!

H-E-B’s 4th of July Family Fun Fest & Fireworks Show
Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Temple at the 24th Annual H-E-B All American 4th of July Fireworks Show! Park guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets for viewing of the GREATEST FIREWORKS show in Central Texas, beginning @ 9:30 pm.

Baylor Scott & White Health Plan Hot Summer Sounds
Mark your calendars for this free weekly summer concert series held on Fridays throughout the summer. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy a beautiful evening in park.

Haunted HayrideClimb aboard the Haunted Hayride as you are taken on a spooky, narrated tour around Reuben D. Talasek Bend of the River, inhabited by creepy characters and spooky scenes.

Join us for an evening of dancing, photographs, and much more on the first Friday and Saturday, of February from 6-9pm  at the Frank W. Mayborn Convention Center in Temple.
