What should I bring to the event?
You, your family and your friends! And don’t forget a chair or blanket, sunscreen, cooler, and bug spray! Although you don’t have to spend any money at this event to have fun, you may also want to bring money for food, drinks or for purchasing items from the novelty vendor that will be on-site.
Can I bring a cooler with food and drinks?
Yes, outside food and beverages are allowed. Glass containers are prohibited. Barbecuing is not allowed inside the park. Personal BBQ pits are not allowed onsite. Don’t forget that we will also have numerous food trucks onsite selling a variety of tasty treats for your convenience!
Can I bring alcohol to the event?
Yes, however glass containers are prohibited.
Is smoking allowed in the park or parking lot?
Per city ordinance, smoking is not permitted in any of our parks.
Can I bring my pet?
Loud, crowded fireworks displays are no fun for pets (in general, regardless of their level of fear), who can become frightened or disoriented by the sound. Please resist the urge to bring them to the Fireworks Show.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes
Can I bring a camera?
Yes. Absolutely NO DRONES.
What happens if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine. Cancellation will only take place if there are severe thunderstorms and/or lightning in the surrounding area during the time of the event.
Restrooms
Restroom and handwashing facilities will be made available at all parking lots.
Security & First Aid
Officers from the Temple Police Department will provide event security and Temple Fire & Rescue will provide First Aid. If you experience an emergency during the event, please call 911. If City staff is present, please notify them after you have dialed 911.
We will announce the band in the Spring of 2024!

Fireworks show begins at 9:30 pm and will last approximately 20-23 MINTUES.
Viewing Areas
Our Soccer Fields are optimal viewing zones for the fireworks show. Feel free to bring your chairs, blankets, coolers etc. However, Pop up tents on these fields are strictly prohibited due to underground irrigation.

Where should I park?
Parking will be made available in the lots throughout Crossroads Park. Parking is free and on a first come first serve basis.
The park will be accessible via the following entrances:
Airport Road and Hilliard Road
Adams Avenue and Hilliard Road
Westfield Boulevard and Prairie View Road
NO PARKING at A+ Learning Academy NO PARKING at CEFCO NO PARKING along the street
- Reserved/paid parking at Vista Community Church
Where is Handicapped Parking?
Accessible parking will be offered in Lots 1, 2, 4 and 5 and will only be provided to vehicles with handicap placards and available on a first-come first-served basis.
Auxiliary Parking
Auxiliary parking will not be staffed. Guests can park in these lots at their own discretion and should be careful to not block driveways, park on roadways or impede traffic.

Will there be shuttles?
No, shuttles will not be provided.
Is there a designated drop off location?
There is NO pedestrian drop off area and parents SHOULD NOT drop off or leave minors unattended.

Lightner Lane – Prairie View Rd to Airport Rd
ALL PARKING LOTS WILL CLOSE AT 8 PM
As soon as the fireworks show has finished, streets will re-open for normal traffic flow. Temple Police Department will be onsite for traffic assistance.
What time should I arrive?
In our efforts to maximize the guest experience, we strongly suggest arriving at the event early. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Expect traffic delays closer to the time of fireworks at approximately 8:00 p.m
Can I leave and come back?
You can come and go as you please, however we cannot promise you will find parking.
I don’t want to park in any of the lots listed, can I watch the fireworks from nearby areas?
Yes, we have no control of the surrounding area. Please be mindful of businesses and residential areas. Do not block driveways, park on roadways or impede traffic.
Are tailgating activities allowed?
You can tailgate within your area however, please be considerate of other patrons trying to enter and exit the parking lots and be safe.
- BBQ pits or grills of any kinds are not permitted.
I’m pulling a trailer, will I be allowed to park?
No, you may park in the auxiliary lots, but you will not be permitted to park your trailer and towing vehicle in any of the lots at Crossroads. RV’s are NOT allowed.

The following items and activities are prohibited at this event:
- Fireworks / Sparklers / Noisemakers (as per City Ordinance)
- Pop up Tents allowed in common area ONLY. No tents allowed on soccer fields due to underground irrigation. Tents MUST be anchored with weights , no tent stakes allowed.
- Weapons
- Cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. Smoking is prohibited at all City of Temple Parks.
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Advertising, selling or promoting any third-party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)
- Amplified sound systems
- No outdoor grills of any kind
- Disorderly conduct
- Generators
- Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
- Laser pointers and air horns.
- Littering
- Drones, remote-controlled aircraft.
- Volleyball nets / stakes
Please note that failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the park.
