Santa Fe Plaza

The Santa Fe Plaza is an approximately $40 million redevelopment in downtown Temple which includes a multi-functional plaza and is anchored by the Santa Fe Depot and flanked by the new Santa Fe Business Center and Temple Independent School District’s new administrative building.

The community investment into the Santa Fe Plaza Development is expediting downtown redevelopment. The Temple Economic Development Corporation, the Temple Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Solutions of Central Texas partnered on the Santa Fe Business Center: a $9 million, 34,000-square-foot office development that serves as a one-stop shop for all things business development in Temple. Combined with the new Temple ISD administrative building, this development brought 300 jobs to downtown Temple.

In addition, to the large green space area, Santa Fe Market Trail and new food truck court, Santa Fe Plaza is also home to the Railroad & Heritage Museum, a working Amtrak station, and is a beautiful outdoor venue for special events and concerts held throughout the year.
