If you experience tension, pain and lack of flexibility due to arthritis, this class is designed for you. Utilize the warm water's natural resistance to help reduce aching joints and improve flexibility. You must be 18 or older to participate in instructed classes unless approved by the Pool Manager.
Everyone is welcome in Aquacize! Join in for a workout that is customizable and sure to get you moving. All exercises can be modified to give you a low-impact or medium-impact workout depending what your body can handle. The water-assisted exercises provide a great calorie burning class that will torch fat and tone your muscles. You must be 18 or older to participate in instructed classes unless approved by the Pool Manager.
Open Swim/Senior Open Swim
Open Swim is open to a maximum of 22 patrons. Senior Open Swim is open to a maximum of 36 patrons. Open swim means flexibility in creating your own swimming workout in a comfortable environment at the Indoor Pool.
**Please note: Lap swimmers may use the single swim lane during this time (maximum of two); Water walkers MUST walk in the open space of the pool and lap swimmers cannot swim laps in the open lanes.**
Open to a maximum of 8 patrons.
Lap swimming is one of the best full body workouts you can do. We have many hours scheduled throughout each day just for you! Lap Swim is a time dedicated to Lap Swimming only.
**Please note: This time block is strictly for lap swimming; Water walking may take place during open swim and therapeutic time (if it is rehab based) in the non-lap lane section of the pool.**
Open to a maximum of 29 patrons.
This swim time is for anyone who needs the therapeutic benefit of water therapy no matter your condition or age. Come enjoy the natural resistance of the water or add some water weights to your work out.
**Please note: Lap swimmers may use the single swim lane during this time (maximum of two); Water walkers MUST walk in the open space of the pool. This time slot is strictly for therapeutic use**
